<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>As a first-time mom-to-be, the biggest question in your head is which crib will look prettier in the nursery? The wooden ones or the white ones? I'm sure you're also having trouble picking out only seven of the ten baby outfits to buy!</b></span></div><div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgvB21PuODwyt04s93OEzVSwINrXdBoA4MEi9J9WwQnX5406mDqNhB3J5ptMYUMvisk77PG1dSVdCNuJVJ-j4bK8xUs9IUMDjnUCPoH0UEoruak0UYgzuaZMF4v9Ru1SCxcOVTAruNE9qgjhEvWpLdwBdKf-WbZQuiGV2Zq1DQ3f1UjOLEaOMIIef_c=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">But, if you're a single mom, your situation probably goes a little more like this: "Will I have the money to buy a stroller and car seat before the baby is born?"</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">All the information online for pregnant women seems to be about taking care of yourself during pregnancy. Eating healthy, exercising, writing a birth plan, hiring a doula; but does anyone ever prepare you for the physical complications you may face after? A good gynecologist may do this, but don't even depend on that. Family members and friends are so proud of you because you made it through the delivery; they leave you on your own and say everything is back to normal now. But, pay special attention to the small signs telling you it isn't.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are a single mom, the best thing you can do for you and your baby is set up a support team before the baby arrives. Not every woman's body naturally falls back into its pre-pregnancy state. Postpartum thyroid problems and hormone imbalances are way too common. Unfortunately, your gynecologist may never make you aware of these possibilities. If you develop one of these postpartum complications, you may not even recognize it; a strong support person will notice the things you miss.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyJDn85c9jaaHsvFmH0yW30sdzovpeZArfH58Flx3gZztFGxqSM4w0HVrZenW2oo5raDw_SsIEyyvYD8Zg3r-gQQXDxY_JLlk8P1_zi8xw_lc3q8n3wICFlD9o5onwyXe0TlWIyHKWIIE/s1600/t%C3%A9l%C3%A9chargement+(2).jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum complications aren't all about depression; but sleep deprivation, a hormone imbalance, or thyroid problem can actually cause it! All of those physical complications can cause a brain fog; add the challenge of being a first-time mother to the list and your thinking is going to get as foggy as an early morning drive on the highway! This is why it is extremely important to have a supportive person with who you regularly communicate; be open with them about anything happening physically or emotionally difficulties you are experiencing. Once you experience severe sleep deprivation, it quickly hinders your ability to make decisions and think clearly; your support person will need to be knowledgeable.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Choosing a support person is like a game of "Red Rover": deciding who you want on your team. The person you pick will ultimately make you stronger or weaker. The only difference is your choice in "Red Rover" results in merely a win or loss; your choice in a support person affects you much more.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">For instance, it may not be wise to choose the person who sits through an entire television show and the next day cannot remember anything they watched! Also, someone who is stubborn and makes quick assumptions based on their own knowledge or lack thereof will only want to fight during a crisis. Please do not choose a support person who does not take what you say seriously.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTfWPTS2lhlpG5zte7hpvqquRQXfytoJU_PjL7cr9Pu9qJu3GWHJYLWRX5oySVI8U1K81DeWObelpDge_y8KfXwop-zFlUaPtTLs0wTCJuAtnn2kh8_JpWsejBKVLOq0fwFUT9zE4CyvE/s1600/images.jpg27.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Characteristics of a strong support person are someone who is smart, insightful, researches things, assertive, wants you to succeed, listens, encourages you to face your fears, and takes charge. A strong support person also seeks to understand and will hear what you are saying without making assumptions. A great support person would be someone who thinks for themself and tends to question those in authority rather than blindly accepting something at face value.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">You have wanted to be a mother all your life; you had that beautiful baby for a reason. So you could raise her, of course! I want to ensure you can do just that! Here are some of the symptoms both you and your support person should watch for which may indicate a postpartum hormone imbalance or thyroid problem:</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o INSOMNIA (Waking up many times during the night for no reason, trouble falling asleep initially, trouble getting back to sleep, or waking early, sudden inability to sleep during the day anymore. Before you were pregnant, it was normal to sleep the whole night through without waking. As long as your baby is sleeping through the night, that is still considered normal! Something else besides your baby is causing you to wake up and that means something isn't right.)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJm4k4ZNbAFMHeIgqCWsspeRz0qQQUzfVbcV9bAxSF0Fjpe7VXlVYtWqTRnr1V1ggOmI8rWhF88bPsXiTZFvzADB7uIqLQY8rwnmvjGZ-exn40xDf4VvDei3-wKmGVjGvQKdCtQzvw69M/s1600/images.jpg28.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Frequent urination (don't write this off thinking it is a bladder infection)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Night sweating (Waking up drenched in sweat)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Inability to tolerate the cold (Inability to get warm with many blankets, need more winter jackets than those around you in cold weather and still cold, freezing feet at night, always seem to be colder than those around you. Pay extra attention to this if it used to be normal for you to go without a jacket in 50-degree weather)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Allergies (morning sneezing, runny nose, etc.)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Pressure in the neck (may feel like swollen glands)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o The neck is tender when someone touches it</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Tight feeling around the neck (You feel the desperate need to pull on your shirt in search of relief though you aren't wearing a turtle neck)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Lose postpartum weight extremely fast or just rapid weight loss without dieting</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Extremely dry hair (you wonder if you need a new Chi since it isn't making your hair smooth anymore. Here is a clue: It might not be the Chi!)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtmDn8UNY-oxH7SwYdPpmdAu1RpC6k2rQtzbhmfvR5VV4GTQsS4N9znPWQuKWe225B7KXSpjAL9uyBpy2qgk1WobewYBU8LQZiKKRv29z_ZV2wHltQGmZ9HmUP-ndJpd6OVyRUQOTMWw8/s1600/images.jpg29.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Skin suddenly becomes very dry and starts peeling</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Hair loss (Women generally lose hair postpartum. If you are aware of that fact and have a gut feeling you are losing way too much, don't ignore it.) Especially if you are losing so much you're getting bald spots!</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Diarrhea</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o FATIGUE</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Bruises</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Memory loss and word-finding difficulty (Continually talking about your baby while calling her another family member's name throughout the course of a day could be a clue! This is a sign of low estrogen or a thyroid problem.)</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Frequent sore throats</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Anxiety</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Depression</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Unusually long or short menstrual cycles</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Pain behind the eyes</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Swollen cheeks/face</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Gaining weight while exercising and eating healthy</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Trouble swallowing</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Brain fog</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKhmPjN0DWe44YB8Y9W5lUgR73qb9_HlfCDf6x6ByQt-3YXosV4N6U6QcoLb-om35SondTTV_zW2oKvjJVlGEEJge3F7O3GxgVcMMXlgMniNThmmWnx50c8Bj8s3xT2UlNnf0wcySP8e4/s1600/images.jpg30.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Rapid/High Heart Rate</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Trouble making decisions</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">o Hoarse voice</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are experiencing any of those symptoms and have a gut feeling something isn't quite right what do you do? Make an immediate appointment with a gynecologist you trust. Also, ask each of your family members if they ever had any difficulties with their thyroid. If so, this is vital information to give your doctor. What else should you do during your visit? Ask if they are skilled in treating thyroid disorders; even slight ones. Insist on full thyroid blood tests and hormone testing.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">What is the next step? If your gynecologist tells you everything is normal, find a natural doctor. Your blood tests can show your thyroid is within normal levels but the standard levels may not be your norm. A good doctor who understands the thyroid will acknowledge your symptoms along with your test results.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Don't listen to anyone who tells you just wait to see a doctor until you have insurance coverage; would you wait to take your baby to the doctor if she was sick? Postpartum hormone imbalances and thyroid problems are not to be taken lightly; the symptoms they cause are many and can quickly escalate. Get together with your support person and find a way for you to see the doctor now; the more sleep-deprived you become, the less clear your thinking will be.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghbGzVSJtcKd5gMEieHFx3H2zCswwtVSHd3esfncZ8ZmSQerG0tSGpGGxXGfV9hjeR9MmLo3z3wkyqnk9jkfbS8v-KnYKKeOQrVJhBu361slCn8QBrjJ2-0m-nus9cPviQS1ADTdwyF14/s1600/images.jpg31.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Sleep loss should not be brushed off; sometimes the remedy isn't as easy as counting sheep! A postpartum hormone imbalance or thyroid problem can make it impossible for you to sleep nights at a time; leave the support people behind who don't believe something is possible just because they have never heard of it happening before. Especially if they don't take the time or make the effort to do the research to find out if it is possible! Ignorance can easily hinder your health and future.</span></div>

<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Many women experience hair loss within the first three months after pregnancy. It's a strange occurrence but can be easily explained. When the fetus is rapidly growing it takes a lot of vital nutrition from the mother.</b></span></div><div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjiO-Edxn2U8lOYpOxO8DiD8fvzbLVod0jW-wuJyELj6q88XPrTre5yDm2pQnHV76Q2Lm-l0sk8Kg3gufBtvkzpWmH14ncznjFUXhWVX3pNVN8gdlqbe5IpBU0TqzMA3sMkqrJQuLyyys4ZjNkPYyqi4xpYskmBvwv9S5ealIwd0HA4A8ScAL3xmcQl=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As the baby grows and demands more nutrients the mother either consumes more for the baby to use or the baby actually utilizes the nutrients that the mother has in her own system.</span><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This occurs frequently with the essential (and very unknown vitamin) biotin. As the fetus demands more biotin, the mother begins to suffer the effects of a reduced amount of biotin.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The mother has a tendency to lose hair (either permanently or temporarily) because of a lack of biotin for several months. Biotin, which was taken for the development of the baby's nervous system had been diverted from the mother.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">In fact, biotin can be easily restored (if it is accompanied by the right level of minerals). When taken through supplements, biotin can increase the level of hair growth and increase the strength of hair growth as well. A lack of biotin can have an enormous effect on the strength and growth rate of hair.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are interested in filling in your hair growth (due to a lack of nutrition) then I would consider taking a hair supplement that contains a mixture of vitamins to help you absorb biotin. Remember, biotin shampoos do not work as biotin cannot be absorbed through the hair or the skin. If you are looking for an effective hair vitamin, there are plenty available.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>

<div id="article-content" style="font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Hypothyroidism normally occurs when the body produces insufficient thyroid hormones needed for body metabolism. Thyroid hormones are produced by the thyroid gland which is located at the base of the throat.</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjiO-Edxn2U8lOYpOxO8DiD8fvzbLVod0jW-wuJyELj6q88XPrTre5yDm2pQnHV76Q2Lm-l0sk8Kg3gufBtvkzpWmH14ncznjFUXhWVX3pNVN8gdlqbe5IpBU0TqzMA3sMkqrJQuLyyys4ZjNkPYyqi4xpYskmBvwv9S5ealIwd0HA4A8ScAL3xmcQl=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hypothyroidism is an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid gland affecting women after childbirth. It normally occurs between 3-8 months after childbirth and is characterized by an inflamed thyroid gland. Research has shown that between 5-10 percent of women develop this disorder after childbirth, and has been identified as the major cause of postpartum depression in most women.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

These include women with a family history of thyroid diseases, with a history of miscarriages, suffering from diabetes and arthritis, suffering from infertility, with high levels of cholesterol, and those suffering from goiter</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Symptoms vary in every woman depending on the type of risk factors. The followings are some of the symptoms of this condition;</span></div>

</ul>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are at risk of developing postpartum hypothyroidism or diagnosed with this disorder, you need to consult your doctor for appropriate treatments. Treatment varies from one individual to another and depends on age, health and medical history of the patient, and severity of the disease. A blood test is normally carried out to measure the level of thyroid hormone, thyroxine or T4, and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). Treatment normally involves the use of synthetic or natural thyroid hormone medication prescribed by a doctor.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Apart from medications, you can improve your thyroid by modifying your diet. You need to incorporate certain foods into your regular diet in order to control this disorder. These include foods that are rich in iodine. Iodine is an important trace mineral needed by the thyroid gland to function properly. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Fish, seaweed, seafood, and iodized salt are good sources of iodine. Others include selenium and tyrosine-rich foods. They are all essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. You should also eat plenty of fruits and vegetables regularly, and make sure to drink plenty of water every day. This will help you to lose weight associated with hypothyroidism.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">It is important to seek appropriate treatments for your postpartum hypothyroidism as soon as you are diagnosed. <span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div id="article-content" style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>In the past when someone had symptoms of hair loss panic usually struck. There seemed to be no solution or if there was then it was expensive. With today's treatment plans being so affordable there are some easy and simple ways to stop the loss of hair. You won't have to suffer as a result of not knowing what type of treatment will work for you.</b></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj6RhUrftE44qeONxRiaMM406d4a5gFxpIoln848zOkxuAGZ87zMK6axh9ASUQEyVKDmK_4WMGn62amRvNIwFdVl-0RTDEi15Bq-JRuX8fTqfUk7M42n0jYuKqOWCSQdn3kT_8qRPXSMd9bv5Hr7FgpvgPbvwwLJpm38iiGavpy9tWFkndLCawtgu3A=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">With the trend of having well-groomed hair as a reflection of self-worth experiencing any type of hair loss can be physically and emotionally devastating. Feelings of insecurity may arise from the initial aspects of hair loss especially when socializing. The causes of a balding hairline whether the person is a male or female do not have to be a genetic issue.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj05vqPsksvoextZAA-X1MjBQgkGBDKeDaxvZG2Tp86hmXfzPhcyu7VBh5_mkkVrAQcgok4LODmFVsacvbdmf-voL-OoGUQ67cP8vkyCXUcPP6hm7EQY6-fahMQH4uXO5OLBCMI-q9h_D8/s1600/1988.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Having a dramatic loss of hair that is rapid would need you to check with your doctor or a hair specialist as soon as you can. A doctor can check the condition of your hair and prescribe the proper type of treatment plan that would be suited for your hair.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">There are plenty of homegrown treatments that a person can try but without proper diagnosis, they may not work as planned. Knowing the type of hair loss condition is important to identify. Getting advice from a professional who knows what type of treatment plans is the best route to take. Whether it is an issue of women that suffer from thinning hair or men dealing with their hair loss there are treatments available.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If the hair loss is not of a serious nature then minor changes can be made such as eating more nutritious foods that will provide protein to your scalp. There are medications that you can take or better yet just find out about some homegrown solutions that will work for you. That will be explained to you a bit later.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Because of the psychological impact of losing hair for the first time in your life, it is definitely an emotional problem that needs to be addressed. People are not used to losing something they have had for all their lives. Now all of a sudden there are strands of hair coming out daily in some of the cases. This type of situation needs to be dealt with immediately. Making an appointment with your doctor or a specialist is the first step to recovery. The second step is to ensure that you get enough sleep and start eating well.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZ1znqvtf8a0_4eYt7lAslJbbbxqmey8PY6htFaxGanSOJsPAP1qGJDDb96i_m0Pl0z2f73jxsyMTiaLXnjU3ol9OTdiOSzHP7_-LZuOz_JJCUXFOe0T2_aHb47NXXEDHMEeyl6aNQNn0/s1600/1999.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Those are the basic tenets that everyone has to follow to stop the loss of hair. Reducing the stress in your life is also a good antidote to the loss of hair.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Reducing stress also dampens the </span><span style="font-size: large;">emotional issues that crop up because of hair falling out. Whether the hair is thinning out or blatantly falling out this situation needs to be dealt with in a calm and directed manner.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The less stress that we have in our lives the less of everything else we will have. Not only from being overly nervous, high blood pressure to of course hair loss. Working out the root cause of hair loss can take a long time but if you end some of the basic issues that affect hair loss then it's a much easier recovery process. Living a life that is relaxed will prove to be beneficial in so many other ways as well.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Once getting into the full treatment for hair loss a lot of emphasis will be given to the foods that you eat. Iron is going to be one of the key ingredients that need to supplement your diet for your hair to start growing back. Iron is contained in a lot of foods and incorporating those foods into your diet is a great way to keep it going for a lifetime. Protein is another nutrient that is contained in foods like fish, cheese, nuts, and seeds. Nutritious meals can be planned with a focus on iron and protein to supplement the current diet that you will be on.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">There will be a variety of doing-it-yourself remedies that may work. Trying these options will not interfere with any prescribed medications if you end up with that line of recovery. But remedies such as pouring green tea (cold of course) over your hair can inhibit loose hair strands from coming loose. The antioxidants contained within green tea also are a beneficial by-product that can stimulate the scalp as well.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwj1gess-IVX_7cQO5O_i38TSFgVJmCG4yScytjVrhOqGRiSfxNxlon59BE9i5JwpDoV68UykiBPzupsZuWZIkLyf7WX58bEHGth2YTgcr6TI1uphmpJAy4CEyVqg5OvXXZeW4uu6RAzo/s1600/images.jpg1987.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Ways of Handling Postpartum Hair Loss</span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Among new mothers, postpartum hair loss is common and considered normal. This typically occurs right after childbirth and will persist until the child begins to walk. Some of the symptoms of postpartum hair loss are pretty astounding; with abrupt occurrences of clumps of hair falling out when brushing or left on the pillow after an evening's sleep; yet you can still take comfort in the fact that this is a temporary hardship.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Factors Involved</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Everyone realizes that there is a sudden surge in hormones in the blood when pregnancy happens. Many changes in the body are because of the sudden gain in the blood flow, such as augmented breast size (as the production of milk starts to flow the hormones increase), changes in the reaction to tasting, smell, and requirements for food, change of skin color and so on.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This is also the period when hair is affected, although the majority of the time this is not obvious. Hair as well, responding to the increased production of hormones has less growth and falls out less, ending up in an improved more luxurious crowning glory.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6x9WE6qgLkO4R9b5VAv1g8N_hQ8QTvjW5daVWyZUCQIGKbQLQBsrlMmIyeqRlwUb7lmxJVPkifjNV9RjVqnBgVjXl8f2-pJ-UPHAZtV9U6lSjYX08rKwFfcaiXp0dwz7ysj10L5TBWj0/s1600/images.jpgpppppppppppooooo.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">After Childbirth</span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Nevertheless, once the child is born, there is a reduction to the normal levels that are required. At this point, the situation in the body returns to pre-pregnancy levels.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">With this process, the hair will begin to behave in the same way that it was prior to the pregnancy occurring, when it is not uncommon to have roughly 50 strands per day fall out. The instant that the hormones were reduced, the added hair that grew throughout the pregnancy as well as the normal fall out rate or hair (but didn't because of the pregnancy) starts falling.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The scalp will not have the capability to support all the additional hair even normally speaking, because the mother's quantity of nutrients is channeled in the milk for the child. Therefore, the end result is postpartum hair loss.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Nevertheless, there is nothing to concern yourself about postpartum hair loss. Introduce into your diet a good quantity of the green leafy types of vegetables (lettuce, spinach, etc.) which will provide added strength to the hair and assist in its regeneration. Consult a physician prior to any major changes and begin taking vitamin supplements which would help in controlling further hair loss.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Many women have heard of postpartum depression, but not as many are familiar with the condition known as postpartum hair loss. <br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pregnancy, while a wonderful experience, has a physically traumatic impact on a woman's body and can become a major cause of female hair loss. A woman's hormones fluctuate drastically before, during, and after birth. Hormonal changes in the cells in the bloodstream have a direct impact on the function of hair follicles, thus leading to postpartum hair loss.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAF__xbLPUv-n52Yx6eGl8rN0YDHq7xmfGLjafRVfHXcQnekgMtd64P8j2eQpithptsbFfYtLmSILTX6foV4y67i_M3bd1SQZmdPdJyFxmfbaP8q-z3K0FEY_Vc6bpWl5KfUv-aSHfB8M/s1600/t%C3%A9l%C3%A9chargement+(34).jpg" /></a></div></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Thankfully, female hair loss associated with postpartum hormonal changes generally only lasts a few months. Most women do not need to seek treatment for this condition as the hair will grow back after the hormone levels in the body rebalance.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Women who have thin hair before pregnancy may be especially concerned about postpartum hair loss and might want to take preventative action to avoid the condition. The use of gentle brushing techniques accompanied by very gentle hair care products is one of the best ways to avoid excessive hair loss.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Pregnant women and those who have just given birth should be especially careful to avoid the chemicals involved in hair dyeing or perming. Hair loss after pregnancy is guaranteed to become worse if the hair is exposed to these damaging ingredients.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Notably, there is not very much research detailing whether or not the chemicals in hair care products are damaging to babies. Yet another reason to stay away from these products altogether. It is recommended that women who are pregnant or breastfeeding stay away from salons altogether as breathing in the chemicals from dyes may be just as harmful as topical absorption.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl3IDwNOORdY14Ihkha0vq2hVqBHgrvk7zxzfHhD1bfbfEYjNvatlVgJsgflNfFu1RMt0WK0dqRqYKDpctpdHPWG5sUQOi27fYV3nD-507ejd-cSHoe3ebqie2pAMvmTgrNLVUDBCD7fE/s1600/images.jpgbbbbbbbbbbbbbbfff.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Female hair loss may be caused by genetics or illness, so it is important to know if you are predisposed to hair loss before pregnancy. Unfortunately, hair loss caused by postpartum hormonal changes may only be the start of your hair loss experience. Knowing more about your odds of hair loss will leave you better equipped to deal with your unique situation.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Check with your hair care professional if you have any questions regarding your postpartum hair loss. He or she is familiar with the condition and will be able to provide additional information for dealing with your condition.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Although postpartum hair loss is common, many new moms are surprised and mystified when they experience a sudden and dramatic increase in shedding several months after delivering their new bundle of joy. Although it feels scary to see so much hair falling out, it is not uncommon for women to lose the thick, shiny locks they so proudly grew during pregnancy.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/12ori61h" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="200" data-original-width="600" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi-EClDTKMOuKKs-gS4hs2LBv9m1r2kajCv3cwakBkZsIzhzdYWcl0aCr6aF-GN_OzKUwYvoZ0s8gjoSqXPUYId7H9MBlQZChcI7AiZ59cu0GegRKdkY-UxKtnrIrlpKu2_k8GLkcBlKNYSx4E8pTxxaaWx123XNTdlXcGiJX7bV-zJN0afgB_18Sv3=w640-h214" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">A woman's hair is often at its best during pregnancy. Some people mistakenly attribute this to the effects of prenatal vitamins, but the increased volume and beauty of a pregnant woman's hair actually comes from the dramatic hormonal surge and increase in blood circulation that occurs during pregnancy. This unique combination allows hair that would normally transition into the resting and shedding phases to stay in the growing phase longer. Normal daily shedding is greatly minimized during pregnancy, resulting in longer growing, thicker, healthier hair.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/12ori61h" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF9w_hzoCZrycUrdVc6qUYV6fU01IHVQEMLOdJxvV81Q7WEBE8CXcSGKCo6RbJVvhRY7WXoe4GYqB8Dtqez82sNRiR2py7uTiWpOrhjrc6NV1RbNjM3H-rFmzcJatSrZWKpHKFyf68mnc/s1600/images.jpggtbgggggggggtttt.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">After delivery, this period of enhanced hair growth ends. The hairs that were in a prolonged growth stage shift into the resting stage. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Three months later these "resting" hairs begin to fall out. The delayed shedding during pregnancy results in excessive shedding after delivery. In normal circumstances, excessive shedding will begin to taper off within six months, and the woman will be left with only slightly less volume than she had pre-pregnancy.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Unfortunately for some, the shedding is extreme and persistent. If the hair growth cycle is not back to normal by the baby's first birthday, it is an indication of an internal imbalance that must be identified and corrected.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">In order to prevent long-lasting, severe postpartum hair loss a woman must receive optimal care after delivering a baby. The postpartum period requires additional nutritional support and adequate rest. Many women run on caffeine and very few hours of sleep while tending to their new baby. Although women are often advised to nap when the baby naps, many ignore this advice as it seems like the only time to get chores done. Paying attention to this advice, eating healthy foods and continuing nutritional supplementation may help to prevent excessive postpartum shedding.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/12ori61h" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7omPqu1Ykvq9BD24jMcOINiMJxY5kJFic7tTdDtYdj8Nfgvq-Wb4tDylHwPd26H44OvgBlubTd2QKswC6PODMrMZO7nGEz7TmE5zyeXoXlZPHj_DrLe1_P__x27CJO5BXMGt3zO0ZJI4/s1600/images.jpgqqqqqqqqqzzzzz.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Our modern society has forgotten or dismissed the importance of postpartum care for the new mother. In the 1950s standard postpartum hospital stays in the United States were between eight and fourteen days. During this time the mother could heal, recover and regain her strength. Hospital stays today are so short that they are often referred to as "drive-through deliveries."</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Other cultures still understand the importance of pampering and protecting the new mother. In these cultures, the new mother is completely cared for by friends and relatives for thirty to forty days. Special nourishing foods and teas are prepared for her, and she is not allowed to do any work. Her entire focus is on resting and recovering from the effects of pregnancy, labor, and delivery so she will be well equipped to handle the challenges of a newborn baby.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This type of care may be extreme and unfeasible in today's society but still, we must not completely dismiss postpartum care.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Many new moms feel guilty and inadequate if they do not jump right back into their fast-paced demanding life (and right back into their pre-pregnancy clothes), but it is important to comprehend that proper postpartum care is not a luxury. It is critical and essential to the health and well-being of the mother. Ignoring this can lead to multiple imbalances and health disorders that can cause hair loss.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Without adequate rest and proper care, the postpartum woman is susceptible to nutritional deficiencies, inflammatory conditions, lowered immunity, and hormonal imbalances. Conditions such as adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism, anemia, systemic inflammation, and autoimmune disorders can be triggered during this time. Any of these conditions can cause hair loss. Extreme care during pregnancy and after birth can help prevent these conditions from manifesting.</span><br />

</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Although the most common hair loss condition affecting postpartum women is telogen effluvium, the onset of androgenetic alopecia can also be triggered at this time.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Extreme self-care is the best defense against postpartum hair loss. Relaxing scalp massages with warm coconut oils or nurturing essential oils can also have a positive effect. Natural treatments such as reflexology, massage, or acupuncture can also help restore balance during this time.</span><br />

<div id="article-content" style="font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>During pregnancy, women experience an array of emotional and bodily changes that can be credited to pregnancy hormones. It is with pregnancy hormones that many women seem to experience hair that grows at a much faster rate and even has hair that appears thicker. </b></span></div><div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span><span style="font-size: large;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg5-yZhY7QwSoVLN_KZyQ0vVaM_csfDvze6qpagJ5rW0mv-qtJCvo0b-Ts9DNx_HFXoi1cFqk6FqWBXCKsa2KkxrLSNm07Nd1FHWCQPMMgJ_dFmbcK38Os3Vf2GTTVxme6LQtA_uUVk_W0b77Sa4atyihCafIOK6mmL6lPer6nVYAoSapZDjhHE8y_p=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div></b></span><br /><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">The problem comes when the pregnancy is over and the hormones return back to normal. It is during this time that women will enter a telogen phase (this is the third part of a hair cycle where hair falls out or sheds). This phase is known to most mothers as the postpartum shed. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-KuT8lzi6e4DsNKCBjsivmDBSI1QAe5Kj0AO_FLVlSAT0yDbPuGAYZA3-QdI-C3TRQfuEhNA4tdUzVAjHxsUi234QEV0ltw7F_1BrNJmQjKEi9N0oIUkpUwdarrmIDEDGVjOi1jCqw5o/s1600/images.jpgyyyyyyyyyyyy.jpg" /></a></div></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">The hair of this phase normally stays on the head for about 100 days before it falls out. Post-partum hair loss often begins at around the third to the fourth month after the birth of the baby and can last from a few months to a year for some women. Many times women have a feeling that they are going bald because of them getting used to the thicker hair they receive during their pregnancy.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><br />
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Since hormones govern post-partum hair loss, there is no way to completely prevent it from losing excessive amounts of hair. However, there are several ways that you can curb and control the shedding as well as promote healthier hair growth rather quickly. Here are some tips:</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">-Make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins. These vitamins contain specific supplements that are vital to the promotion of healthier hair. Such supplements contain Biotin, Silica, Calcium, Omegas, Flaxseed Oil, and Zinc.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7wC0JDtgggTRutUAl-ItTehY_Kg0asmpd-lmy9NnFDuvBMqabbJC47hOKdAq7uQdy1npsk9wH4QqFaQSPd_W9ycDQfGrdjndPC9Egi0LpxJuPXEviWsq6LxiVXkz_0QvIazNS70_HmLQ/s1600/images.jpgeeeeeeerrrrrrrrree.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- Stay away from heavy creams or hair masks that can clog the scalp. A healthier, cleaner scalp that produces its own natural oils is very important in the growth and thickness of the new hair that is being produced.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- Use some essential oils to give yourself a scalp massage as this stimulates blood flow to the scalp, which in turn encourages the hair follicles to grow hair.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">These tips and maintaining a healthy diet can help you overcome your postpartum hair loss and get you right back to where you want to be.</span></div>

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Only women who have actually experienced pregnancy can understand how much their bodies, hormones, and systems changed in preparation for giving birth. It only makes sense that after the baby is born, these systems need to change back to the way they were pre-pregnancy. Hormone levels decrease, your body starts resuming its previous shape, and things that were put on hold while you were pregnant get back to normal operation. </span></i></b><b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; font-size: x-large; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg5-yZhY7QwSoVLN_KZyQ0vVaM_csfDvze6qpagJ5rW0mv-qtJCvo0b-Ts9DNx_HFXoi1cFqk6FqWBXCKsa2KkxrLSNm07Nd1FHWCQPMMgJ_dFmbcK38Os3Vf2GTTVxme6LQtA_uUVk_W0b77Sa4atyihCafIOK6mmL6lPer6nVYAoSapZDjhHE8y_p=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div>
<i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i>
<i><span style="font-size: large;">This includes your hair. While you were pregnant you may have noticed that it got thicker and even changed to a richer color. It was definitely affected by the hormonal changes in that it didn't fall out on a regular basis like it does in its non-pregnancy state. Inevitably, about 75% of women who give birth will notice hair loss about 3-4 months later.</span></i><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"></span></i></b></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">All hair goes through stages. It starts by </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">growing in and then experiences a lengthy "resting" phase. Most women lose hair at a rate of 30 to 100 strands per day. About 7 years after a hair shaft started to grow, it falls out, making room for new, healthy hair. This process continues throughout your life.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"> Pregnancy, however, disrupts the normal flow of things. While you were carrying your baby, very little of your hair fell out. The normal cycle didn't exist any longer. However, your body remembers what was supposed to have taken place, so after you have the baby, it causes all of the hairs that should have fallen out during the 9-month gestation period to exit your scalp.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The good news is that your hair will grow back in and resume the same thickness as it had pre-pregnancy. What some women don't like is having to look somewhat like a picked chicken until it can do that. If you are one of these women and you dread the thought of not looking your best, there are a few things you can do to minimize hair loss. Some of these tricks include:</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1. Brush and comb your hair extra-gently following pregnancy, because the hair is particularly delicate at that point.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGrRyu6LZ9fsDdSyGo28A1M-aA2iDhbsVXf28mCPoLRQYxFhjszUbXFRNlwZ7Df9yj5bjOSRkwU8SqMneE2ED6vTPxWy_GUsWBaZtKBp6JbXJiqP1EkxEmIxDOWutfQyWNfafpiYoYwxc/s1600/images.jpgqqqqqqqqsssss.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2. Eat a nutritious diet that you've worked out with your physician. After all, you don't want to save your hair at the expense of the baby you're breastfeeding.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">3. Lightly massage your hair with oil.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">4. Refrain from putting your hair into tight hairdos, such as ponytails and braids, which can loosen the strands from the follicles.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">5. Use a wide-toothed comb when your hair is wet.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">6. Don't use your dryers and curling irons during this period of time.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">7. Buy herbal shampoos and conditioners which will be more gentle on your hair.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzPJhfQ4DG0Qo2Zi8aGJif1jGdXVWxvWNyuR8UqNQINLHiKyBhSfAF1EnLmQg7e_EaCWYoDI0kmR3A8HJ-gDyQxVL0n8vQhuuy7eDcEhRkaqpCm4IWebmO1XiLZipLH53NmAp4MQe4Eo0/s1600/images.jpghhhhhhhhhhhgyyyyyyyy.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">8. A shorter hairstyle will grow back in more quickly.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">After giving birth, a woman may experience loss of hair. This condition is medically known as postpartum hair loss. If during pregnancy, the high level of estrogen improves blood and nutrients circulation in the body, thus increasing hair growth; after the delivery, the level of estrogen returns back to normal. When the estrogen level returns to normal, this is when the hair starts increasingly falling out -- instead of just the usual few strands of hair.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; font-size: x-large; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg5-yZhY7QwSoVLN_KZyQ0vVaM_csfDvze6qpagJ5rW0mv-qtJCvo0b-Ts9DNx_HFXoi1cFqk6FqWBXCKsa2KkxrLSNm07Nd1FHWCQPMMgJ_dFmbcK38Os3Vf2GTTVxme6LQtA_uUVk_W0b77Sa4atyihCafIOK6mmL6lPer6nVYAoSapZDjhHE8y_p=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Fortunately for women, postpartum hair loss isn't something permanent and it is treatable. In most cases, the loss of hair will stop occurring after a few months. Just to be on the safe side, however, new mothers can take a number of ways to keep their hair healthy and intact.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOupAYPNy3_GX9imGbfoGopATpDz5on6TMzrhj0f7iEmyLv5DLp9VmeLaLSCcj5Szu3Q7KDDqUBqGa8P-9cKKVKKvgzFvvotkLLACJTaPxW8tUBP-BKimyiVi_eifbOn89B5PdooZiVuk/s1600/images.jpgwwwwwwwwwwwwwss.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">To deal with the effect of postpartum hair loss, you can try to change your hairstyle. If you are previously sporting the long hair look, you can shorten it instead and give some bangs to frame the face. Making the hair shorter in the front and longer at the sides is a smart way to keep a fresh style and look to women who had just gone through pregnancy.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">To keep your hair healthy and to give it a fuller look, make sure that it is conditioned and moisturized well throughout the day. This can be done by using a conditioner and moisturizer after shampooing the hair. Do not forget to choose the right conditioner and moisturizer - get products designed specifically for hair care after pregnancy. It is possible to use baby shampoos, as they are gentle enough for your hair. Further, do avoid using excessive hair styling products - as they may contain some harsh chemicals that could further damage the hair. Avoid blow-drying the hair as well.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you would like to disguise the thinning part of the hair, you can color your hair or change the hair parting style. For those who have dark hair, highlighting the front would do wonders for your appearance. As for those who usually part hair in the middle, consider switching to a side part hairstyle instead - this way you can camouflage the hair thinning at the temples area.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic-31xTFbkVaiZRElfNJV5F6dQipHOpsOxV5tEhMiUCmquZgLga24MZFNDQ-OdrEp_mtdj7eF0X2pT6GoeJjkBMRnn0ZZCsosY3cqYR-cFs_uBqcDiduvvaq5ikDomlbfsNHu6SAm_j74/s1600/images.jpg58585858.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Having straight and silky hair is a great look when you are not suffering from any hair loss problem. When it happens, it would make the loss of hair even more pronounced. Consider changing your hairstyle to a curly or wavy one.</span><br /></div></div><div id="article-resource" style="font-family: Arial;"><div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; font-size: x-large; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg5-yZhY7QwSoVLN_KZyQ0vVaM_csfDvze6qpagJ5rW0mv-qtJCvo0b-Ts9DNx_HFXoi1cFqk6FqWBXCKsa2KkxrLSNm07Nd1FHWCQPMMgJ_dFmbcK38Os3Vf2GTTVxme6LQtA_uUVk_W0b77Sa4atyihCafIOK6mmL6lPer6nVYAoSapZDjhHE8y_p=w640-h80" width="640" /></a><br />

<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss occurs during certain hormonal changes for a woman. Many women are shocked to discover how much their hair can start thinning after giving birth, but there are various treatments that help to combat thinning hair and return hair to its normal thickness.</span></i></b><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgjQszbaB0AhYUOkGJZTy7kllxuwCDBauXzlUnO36RGzB7Ur1zZuBi1QJ_YDJzD9QrrIr22l131XXIpnycfcdsvW-dOKOeNHzzECao7B6KtPWOSd0Dxg5cPf-qVCW4gSWcHofdlgAv8vH5m5nK5_mD1KonwWtDCz5P__xAJSR3ImZEmVOenXYYuAa7s=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /></span></i></b></div>
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Female hair loss is very often caused by changing hormones. This hormonal hair loss can be seen at various stages during life. Women will see the biggest difference when they stop taking birth control, have a baby, or enter menopause. Hair that is lost postpartum occurs most often and usually happens within a couple of days to a couple of weeks after giving birth. Women who miscarry or have an abortion may also be affected by this.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvSnvETE9upS3HU-5fPfgSVGhhVsnt9NfJg2yo0fv67hjddE6a0mrJD57EKRC5pDKprA-mtkyi4AkP_ODXIthObGW7cKltNpS1CIxNorWnvhg6hTWtvaYYkcyIAvnbxQ2g9ELqgpzeis8/s1600/images.jpgxszzzzzz.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The good news is that postpartum hair loss is rarely permanent. As with other types of hormonal thinning hair, women will typically see an increase in shedding after giving birth. This shedding can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on the individual. As the body's hormone levels readjust, the amount of shedding will decrease and hair will eventually start growing again.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">There are some female hair growth products that can help speed up the time it takes to stop any thinning. Most women will benefit from taking a DHT blocker tablet. A DHT blocker tablet helps stop one possible cause of thinning hair: an overproduction of DHT, or Dihydrotestosterone. DHT is a hormone that can block the absorption of hair growth nutrients, essentially starving the hair follicle and reducing its growing stage. Usually, this affects men more than women, but it can be a common cause among postpartum women as well. A DHT blocker uses a natural ingredient like saw palmetto extract to reduce levels of DHT so hair follicles can return to their growing stage.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">A vitamin with nutrients such as biotin, Vitamin B6, niacin, and zinc will also aid in the hair growth process. For women who are nursing, there are numerous topical hair loss treatments. A gentle and nourishing shampoo and conditioner with biotin and saw palmetto extract will help block harmful DHT and stimulate healthy hair growth.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdBL-exqMjwX4FuTU1-MlSCIEN39Njy4NbHyXBEofchdKIfOH6zNdIxLlmz4BDd4AUcnbPo7B9qsKkscXtyoMiRYqCzoQQmsj5HD6jB-yy9iLjEGm099xQMR-FZkgwZaQAXhg_xw_LwaE/s1600/images.jpgqqqqqqqqqssss.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss can be frustrating, but taking a hair vitamin or using a proper hair growth shampoo can help stop some of the sheddings and make hair grow faster. Ask your doctor before starting any supplement program, and remain consistent with the treatment you decide upon in order to see the best results.</span><br />

<div id="article-content" style="font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">For any woman who has had a child, pregnancy can be a great experience excluding of course the nauseating pain that comes with childbirth, but then that is an aside considering they have just brought a brand new life into the world. The problem is that pain is not the only side effect of pregnancy, there is some degree of hair loss involved which is more of a postnatal effect as is well known by many mothers. Somewhere around 50% of women will experience this hair loss at some point in time after childbirth. </span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; font-size: x-large; font-style: italic; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgjQszbaB0AhYUOkGJZTy7kllxuwCDBauXzlUnO36RGzB7Ur1zZuBi1QJ_YDJzD9QrrIr22l131XXIpnycfcdsvW-dOKOeNHzzECao7B6KtPWOSd0Dxg5cPf-qVCW4gSWcHofdlgAv8vH5m5nK5_mD1KonwWtDCz5P__xAJSR3ImZEmVOenXYYuAa7s=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<i><span style="font-size: large;">This usually happens within a one to five months period after childbirth whereby in or around the third month is where in most cases the effect is really felt. This, of course, is a very distasteful situation and extremely unnerving especially since this affects their looks and their mood. What is even worst is when the person is a new or even worst yet a young mother which increases their rate for postnatal depression and lowers their self-esteem.</span></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX0aWAkwUI_h0D0M-aKI-mVIqhzsV-hPO_LMXzUkoKwAXwDGUz5XGakfPp2irKxdJYZx5GjaStviiWYA4VNNkMxGtf56yP36Y89K9U_XJZK37i7ThNln53-mreMjNLuSk_4IU4XUuFOzo/s1600/images.jpg156.jpg" /></a></div>
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">What is the cause?</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Hormones! Just that, hormones, the increase and/or loss of hair when it comes to pregnant women and new mothers are usually due to the flux in the level of female hormones, which basically is known as estrogen. Within the term of pregnancy, most women would experience an increase in their scalp hair, which is because at this time there is a surplus of estrogen being pumped around the body. This causes their metabolisms to be sped up and nutrients spread everywhere in the body including the scalp causing the increase in scalp hair.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">After childbirth however is the complete opposite whereby there is a decrease in estrogen in the body to return the body to its normal levels that it was before the pregnancy, therefore, resulting in what we deem, hair loss. Basically, since the extra nutrients in the scalp can not be provided by the hormones anymore there is nothing to support the increase in hair therefore the hair gained falls out. There are also other causes that add to the pack when it relates to this type of hair loss like discontinuing the use of contraceptives, miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, and hormonal imbalance resulting from various reasons.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Most women, fortunately, do not have to worry considering this effect is only temporary and most come out of this problem without even taking any treatment for it since the body does the work for itself. There are however some cases whereby the hair loss continues after the predetermined period and becomes something to worry about especially if the person was already afflicted with very thin hair in the first place. No real need to worry though since there are treatment options available to help out in the form of hair care and hair nutrition which are the major factors in promoting healthy hair after childbirth.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixUy4NU4qkZKzem8ZQUqalod8q87VLjMxSbQJk2QYGR_t7qrknFqUODkUilmN-_gOTTDhRwZLm-3A5XVWx9FVcSpnClgfhS1jOJDKMTVbwV1OM1cgUGTYujQIc51hfA6zjdGP2sb68wMQ/s1600/images.jpg157.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Hair Care</span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Proper hair care has been found to be in this case a major helper in the restoration of the hair to a thicker and lusher growth. Some of these methods, however, should be avoided during this time though because they put too much stress on the scalp such as pigtails, cornrows, hair weaves, and braids. Using tight hair rollers is also not recommended. The application of essential oils is also helpful as they promote healthy hair growth which may include lavender, neroli, patchouli, and sandalwood. Shampoos and conditioners containing biotin and silica are also advisable options available. What should also be noted is that wet hair should not be rubbed hard since the hair is usually brittle at this time.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Nutrition</span></b></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As with all other symptoms, the body may experience a healthy diet is always the way to go and especially so for hair loss after pregnancy. Foods like fruit and vegetables are usually the most ideal for the promotion of healthy hair and growth. Also along with your doctor's advice, he/she can advise you to a prescription of nutritional supplements which can include Vitamin B, Vitamin, C, Vitamin E, and zinc which an excellent sources of nutrients for the hair.</span><br />

<strong><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum Hair Loss Explained</span></strong></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss is a term that refers to hair loss which can sometimes occur after giving birth to a baby. There are many reasons why hair loss can take place in so many women after childbirth, so if you are pregnant or are planning on getting pregnant then you are definitely going to want to read on.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">One of the main reasons behind postpartum hair loss is the great number of hormones that are rapidly moving through a woman's body, this is heightened after the baby is born, as the body responds to the dramatic changes that have again taken place. These hair loss symptoms are also similar to that of birth control and hair loss. While a woman's body is persevering with these changes, many different symptoms can occur, the most common being hair loss.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">It can be a frightening experience to notice the hair coming out, especially for a woman, but it is important to remember that you will not become bald and the hair loss shall recede as the hormones return to a normal level. This differs from person to person, but the average time for the hormone level to return to normal is about 2-3 months.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Hair loss can occur due to many reasons. Sometimes women tend to lose hair after giving birth to a child. This is referred to as postpartum hair loss. Whenever a woman is pregnant or there is a great amount of what is known as hormones that are moving inside a woman's body. This movement is more so after the birth of the baby as some dramatic changes take in the body. One of the most common symptoms that can occur during these times is hair loss.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><b><i><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></i></b></span></i></b><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjfj6L4cV3DY58axfBc6MV2f1LE8Gpc7vBrLXmPiZ486Odnv_SedaS6CkWxBhHGOZi1uWRc-ZsWbjpOwg-hbl9WJAXQBtwAy1rUq5aF_nQxRJ6EKtfeaZgGpajO5La60JzdEb8sS6m97csoeTER1Uyb2I5DD6gDyj_S3U7b6rz9fWIy44Cvd-SBn0IW=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO8DteiONVYAsv_LwIpVn5wKf6BJKrYM67VJI8FOPqibQsMGh4E4ttY-lO85WG4Z5rjMVM3f98BG3rg7t5t7Ic9kc_xB3cQIaBCfx89sDMjUgOTh26u9Z2c6osuFgCzEA2_0XLqtGjCLg/s1600/images.jpg788888888.jpg" style="cursor: move;" /></a><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss can be a sometimes frightening experience for a woman, but they need not worry since they will not become bald and the problem would recede once the hormones return to the normal level. Although this is the case, the time duration for the normalcy of the levels of hormones to occur may differ from person to person. On average it takes around 3-4 months for it to happen.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">These days with advances in science and in the medical field, there are various treatment procedures available for postpartum hair loss. Almost any doctor would tell you that this is absolutely normal and there is no need to worry about it. However if the condition bothers you too, there is no need to panic or worry since there are many treatment methods available to treat this particular condition.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss can be treated using certain products that you can find being widely available in the market these days. Although they are widely available you should always consult your doctor before you take them. This is especially important since some of the ingredients in such products may prove harmful to the babies in case you are a pregnant woman. You should, therefore, take care when choosing from among the many such products available in the market.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss can be avoided to a large extent by just consuming a healthy diet. This would result in not only healthy hair but in radiant and glowing skin too. A postpartum dietary supplement, for instance, is a good way to ensure that you are receiving sufficient amounts of essential minerals and vitamins. This would encourage overall hair health and promote growth. You should avoid things such as permanents and hair dyes while you are pregnant. They are most likely to cause postpartum hair loss by weakening the hair. You should, therefore, avoid such strong products during your pregnancy. It is important for any pregnant woman to take care of all these aspects.</span><br />

</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Many women experience significant hair loss after giving birth. It's not the first thing a new mom will talk about because there are so many other things to discuss so a lot of women don't know to expect this. In fact, this hair loss doesn't even begin until the baby is a few months old. At first, you might observe more hair than usual at the bottom of your shower and the next thing you know, your hair is noticeably thinner when you look in the mirror. As scary as this seems at the time, it's actually very normal and temporary.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Although it may look like you are losing quite a bit of hair, you also have to keep in mind the fact that your body holds on to a lot of extra hair during your pregnancy thanks to the increase of estrogen running through your body. Extra estrogen means less hair loss which is why many pregnant women's hairs look fuller and thicker than normal. As the estrogen starts to level out post-partum, the hair it was retaining slowly starts to begin the shedding process. So even though it looks like tons of hair is falling out, you are really going back to the way you were before. The hair should stop falling before the baby turns a year old.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">There are several things a woman can do to get through this unpleasant time. One thing that can make a big difference is volumizing hair products that give the hair some body and lift. Many women opt to get their hair cut a bit shorter not only to save time with a new baby around but also to help make their hair loss less noticeable and make cleanup easier. A layered haircut can also help make the hair loss a bit less dramatic-looking to outsiders.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCS6wxCJkLi2YFSUhwWrwsXsws5Qc8r-asZRSEFlV93_q57XJCYbWmHnnI5mKcWf3Qsho19fezIJOG_pp0nyKSrffR0k3N6JcnGuYUtbVU3rf1umskKQdP2IObl1n1GH9NgrDcLRe7nPQ/s1600/images.jpg77788889999.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Cleaning up the fallen hair can be a bit of a pain but it's important if you want to avoid clogging your drain and paying the plumber. Moreover, fallen hairs can wrap around the baby's fingers or toes and cut off circulation so check your baby's digits daily for wrapped hairs, especially if the baby seems to be crying for no reason.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Another way you can improve the look of your hair is by using vitamins such as Vitamin E and biotin. This can help with blood flow to the scalp area which should boost new hair production. Shampoos and other products that contain vitamins can help but the best way to use vitamins to your advantage is to take them internally. This can make a difference even if you're not losing your hair and has other health benefits as well.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div id="article-resource" style="font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Not only do you lose hair from your head but your eyelashes and brows may suffer as well. Biotin is one of the <a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" target="_new">best vitamins for hair loss</a> and you can even take <a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" target="_new">biotin eyelash growth</a> supplements if you are noticing much sparser lashes as a result of post-partum changes.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss is what is commonly known as post-pregnancy hair loss which can last from six to twelve months after childbirth. There are several things you can do to Stop Hair Loss After Pregnancy.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhyz5b8HrcAyIbOHhyCmMjgYZivwGl73wVyOIX2B7GMe8OmiOx3t5leRV_pvUOSRJoPtWFI_oep4cErGACPycI2VuOBk4NwzNQK5un5CceBpWnkS9OVvYGVIAq2gRTll2aBPS4HU468v4AKE8exxJd53drV5lmGa7hGyrj0n5B7LyvlY3cvSeUIeVMq=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Have your doctor check you out to ensure that you are no longer experiencing hormonal imbalance. If the hormonal imbalances continue after childbirth, you might be experiencing other types of medical conditions that could have occurred during pregnancy and extended thereafter like thyroid disorder in pregnancy.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkgRblYo92bewkDDgd5e8F-l6I1jD9us15YkLyRx266FOnpnp2NcVymxyXhwZA2P36qBqDBffGFzJlXfYXTFdwl9Gj27nWCkZoevHcVxiGgcByA326njCdS9oORjsbFTpDeId5qLavHOU/s1600/images.jpgrrrrrrrrrrtttttt.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are given a clean bill of health, you should start on a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables high in antioxidants, helping you to enhance hair growth and strengthening the follicles.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Intake of the right amount of supplements in terms of vitamins and minerals is an important part of the regimen. You may wish to continue taking prenatal vitamins as the chemical components of zinc, vitamin H, silica and calcium can help enhance hair growth. Fish oils containing omega, flaxseed oil, avocados, and nuts can also help with hair growth.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Scalp acupuncture and massage is also effective in stimulating the blood flow through the scalp and hair follicles. You may do the massage yourself or us a bristle brush. Be careful not to rip the remaining amounts of your hair.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Create a soothing, safe, healthy, and happy environment at home to avoid emotional trauma and postnatal depression as this will give rise to more stress and hence intensify your postpartum hair loss.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As you try to coax new hair to grow, never use harsh chemicals on your hair or scalp and this includes thick moisturizing creams, harsh shampoos, hair coloring, highlights, etc. Avoid using strong hairdryers, heated curlers just in case you might further aggravate hair loss.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">While you may not be able to totally stop hair loss after pregnancy, there are some things you can do to camouflage it. Trying different hairstyles or going for a shorter crop enables easy hair management and can, in fact, stimulate hair growth to a certain extent. You might want to use headbands that can easily cover up certain areas, especially along the hairline or higher.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggKzYgfQUYYvDmeohtfnJawwRRY9ScL7BUEriD-yrBCOaeHuJeClOS6DQfzhdF0IaM1OoM7Wz2L2CTbRNpoEs2GeW-iOPXewlw2DVkmI5wd7wPa_YKwvS6bMjiJeBXi4lcoMB0RO8ig6g/s1600/images.jpgiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkiiiii.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Always remember, post-pregnancy hair loss is temporary and you will have a full-grown head of crowning glory again very soon, especially if you do not fuss over it every moment of the time. Anxiety and stress can affect its growth too.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum alopecia is the condition that causes new mothers to suffer some hair loss after the delivery of their children. It is caused by reduced levels of estrogen in the body.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg_zFvobMUet0zI-Vikq9YmshOD01r8tKrXRDA35snrIV9EyIgn0D5yqZzK31XU6zqwexaKBLRMdYPmYUfrQZJbc87cZWSeFkp8R4kJLnXqYoaNdlWkxxoRHbNV5pTiBj7aI4-GJRiEBi2fcp1w39jxPCPb1_MamuTSau9VvVmXya9zuf_j20QP7hXB=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">During pregnancy, estrogen levels are at their highest, leading to increased hair growth. After pregnancy, estrogen levels drop, which causes an increase in the male hormone testosterone, resulting in hair loss. Testosterone is produced in the male testes, and in lesser amounts by the female ovaries.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMoAz97YwF5qw6VRUUJZRu_Kz2PW5oZVn5C2KslC3wWC2iRKSt3aBAgTIjp6RtQLKH8RDom3V1Dom2M9vpZLnFGVt_i4uJ3vc5b5jfu6aYrBjy_xYhO6HSNlLzjZXkscrJ3pGYwdP2ADI/s1600/images.jpg03333333322211.jpg" /></a></div></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">On average, a human would shed around 50-100 hairs every day. Postpartum alopecia will normally peak around four months after childbirth and within twelve months hair will have been restored back to its normal levels.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">At any point in time, roughly ninety percent of your hair is in a growth phase. The rest of the hair is resting and will then fall out at the end of this phase. When you shed your older hair, new hair grows and take their place. It is after this resting phase that hair loss occurs.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">When your hormone levels are elevated, hair growth is above average and will result in less shedding. Once the delivery has occurred, all the hair that would normally have been shed will tend to fall out in one go. The result will be ahead of hair that appears thinner than before.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This is quite normal and cannot really be avoided. You can focus on making this postpartum alopecia appear less noticeable. Wearing your hair shorter, for example, can give the illusion of a fuller head of hair.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Ggd0n5yM8sX7ns4VI3Y8lDYnUALGhqi6eP-o0WolOjhtLsBgs7ihv_lUGinPn_-cjhkDUWittbsyrgp4_7DL0_IAVWf5bHa78EUByRl0CYsyWfl3psczTEgGrX45l5lBemPzb4rR2bI/s1600/images.jpgiiiiiuuuuiiiiii.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Securing the hair during sleep, such as a loose ponytail, will reduce the incidence of friction that causes hair loss.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Satin pillows are great for limiting postpartum hair loss, and at other times as well for that matter. This is because of the reduction in friction that the satin pillow brings. As a matter of fact, it is this friction that will cause your baby to lose hair as they rub their head while lying in the cot.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Hair may be missing from the back of your child's head which is normal and will be a temporary situation.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Other causes of hair loss may include:</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Stopping birth control pills, miscarriage or stillbirth, abortion, and a hormonal imbalance.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">All of the above relate to fluctuation in estrogen levels, which is the same thing as a hormone imbalance. Remember, increased estrogen means hair growth, while a decrease in this hormone will result in hair loss.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Management:</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- Eat a healthy diet of fresh fruits and vegetables</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- Avoid using hair products that have harsh chemical ingredients.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- Avoid wearing your hair in any style that pulls tightly at your brow.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDmGVjfTp8t57-JeC5q4d3UrONNkdPkBgk3vVV6U5GyvJ6ObGKCWcz46Mjpna73LM5pPVDc0CBZ8Zkz2iPNRC67gCNOqiofuFkrOISUGkMrluDorWXEh5cVT6IXSPtpKqUox1xrr0NEr8/s1600/fffffffffffff.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">- <b>Use natural hair shampoos and conditioners that nourish and revitalize your hair.</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">It is not much you can do to stop postpartum alopecia from occurring. What you can do is take steps to minimize the obvious appearance of this condition as well as treat your hair with tenderness to ensure as little fall out as possible.</span></div>

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss, or shedding hair after pregnancy is normal to new mothers and when it happens you don't have to get too worried about it. This normally takes place between three and six months after giving birth and when it happens, some women are so afraid they are losing their crown.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg_zFvobMUet0zI-Vikq9YmshOD01r8tKrXRDA35snrIV9EyIgn0D5yqZzK31XU6zqwexaKBLRMdYPmYUfrQZJbc87cZWSeFkp8R4kJLnXqYoaNdlWkxxoRHbNV5pTiBj7aI4-GJRiEBi2fcp1w39jxPCPb1_MamuTSau9VvVmXya9zuf_j20QP7hXB=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Under normal circumstances, we lose close to 100 hairs daily but since it does not happen all at once, most people are never aware that it is taking place. When you are pregnant, the hormones that sustain the pregnancy keep the hair from falling hence the myth that pregnancy causes hair to grow. This is why your hair is likely to look lush and you are not able to brush through it easily. However, even the best of things come to an end at some point, those hormones get back to their normal levels and your hair begins to fall off, which is the norm.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkSkbe2BkGnwO7peOV0MN0_a9Za0c6b6ponqJerZ3v1gggs3pF2mpbsgARFlCtogDOmRRB7TaktvBcdEDsyp08IT3_Ebuf5E-XtHVt_a1m5V_wKAaQKgFL8OFvu5X9UejVYxT2xzbUZzA/s1600/t%C3%A9l%C3%A9chargement+(30).jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">When you realize you are experiencing postpartum hair loss, the first thing to remember is that there is no need to freak. If you are breastfeeding some of that hair will actually hang on for a while and begin falling off when you begin weaning. But whether you nurse your baby for so long, it is most likely that by the time your baby gets to celebrate their first birthday and their head is full of hair, you will be losing locks of hair from your own. All you need to remind yourself is that this is normal and it will come to pass.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">There are a few simple things you can do as you handle postpartum hair loss:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ul style="margin: 0px 0px 1em 2em; padding: 0px;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ZA8QulQbEgm6LBmbvGKRGAh5Hu-cQ_r6x3st2G3qgDcGCHk6llv2rUYtlQrp9ggm3C24EEz9_UA3BrQ1ZC9eTMixB7YPdHj5onV4ZO4KkvFlBtm1OlVMyT_EmgF1PMjyTCX4R9Qtf2k/s1600/images.jpg99999888887.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; font-size: medium; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: center;"><br /></a>
<li style="line-height: 1.5em; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;">You need to keep your scalp and hair healthy by eating a balanced diet and consuming prenatal supplements.</span></li>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span>
<li style="line-height: 1.5em; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;">You can prevent excessive hair loss when you are shedding hair after pregnancy by being just a little vigilant. You should only shampoo your hair when it is absolutely necessary and use a good conditioner. When untangling your hair only use a wide-toothed comb and always avoid using rubber bands or pulling your hair into tight locks.</span></li>
<li style="line-height: 1.5em; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></li>

<li style="line-height: 1.5em; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;">Blow driers, flat irons, and curls will not augur well for your hair, and if you must do them, only when it becomes absolutely necessary. You should also shelve applying any chemical treatments including straightening, perms, and highlights until you are done with the shedding period.</span></li>
<li style="line-height: 1.5em; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: large;">Last but not least, talk to a trusted hair practitioner if you experience some excessive hair shedding and if it is accompanied by other symptoms. You want to be sure you are not dealing with postpartum thyroiditis.</span></li>

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Many pregnant women focus so much on what will happen during the birth of their baby that they forget to learn about the things that will happen to them afterward. Most women know that their stomach won't look like it used to immediately after giving birth but a lot of women are surprised at some of the other physical changes that happen to their post-partum bodies. One of the most alarming of these changes is the hair loss that happens after having a baby.</span></i></b><b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjg-WdWbgQsPYOdzaOqS_RWPu46em1amiEtiKj1aYmaxiuegRX-AOeYaP7MgK3U1gxOVoSCy1XvUD4WYc6YLRUn4R2U-Sk2fx8aegmFzGpXqm8UcgT4E0uZ4L0WmIC_eLWwG95vvCuMLVzBgE-xioc-s8ex86m_xO1lXJb0EFySaPYcNyNnLATZJFTt=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPuE_kz0nxp3wGZ5GjMXM7yGN8Sm8R9q1rKpeTpH65aNClyumKRGETtb0AzEjQcRBc6dPezXVsGlpSKNZu7Wkcot3R1H6XOfJX9F5Uh2IqEIzcRMHzs52ZMxdnsFxVWgcaJXn99w3fAvs/s1600/images.jpg$$$$$$$$.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Your hair can start to fall out quite rapidly within a few months of giving birth. Somehow this little annoyance doesn't make it into many lists of what women should expect after giving birth and many new mothers run scrambling to find out if others have had this same experience. It is indeed normal for a new mom's hair to start falling out in droves as the baby nears four months of age and this can last for several months but rest assured it will not last forever and is something completely normal that happens to almost everyone after giving birth.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This hair fallout is not quite as dramatic as it looks. Although you will notice a shocking amount of hair in your drain, this is really the extra hair you had during pregnancy falling out and not your regular hair. Pregnant women have higher estrogen levels which cause them to lose less hair than normal. That's why your hair looked thicker while you were pregnant. Once the baby is out, estrogen returns to its normal levels, and the extra hairs that would have normally fallen out during your pregnancy finally drop off. It looks a lot worse than it actually is and the problem usually disappears completely after a few months.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPtbt98Vqr9W2cYJ9Nh9tZ6khOg-gZyiSEHJpaAgz0mbF8GxMBQ7K-7SxIE6FojoIT1sPle7hJfbfIxLpwPIeIHfDc-kfgatAUCSVKMSWqWdhRRWmQWnHj56scPIWMD4isjpDJg1W7ry0/s1600/images.jpg$$$111144.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are experiencing postpartum hair loss, you might need to buy some hair products that you never needed before such as mousse. You can use a spritz of mousse toward the roots of your hair and then lift it up a bit with your fingers to make it look a lot fuller than it actually is. A lot of new mothers opt to get their cut shorter out of frustration with finding so many fallen hairs and this can also help you make your beauty routine easier and give you more time with your new baby.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">You should also be careful with the fallen hair that collects around your house because sometimes hairs can get wrapped around the baby's toes or fingers and restrict circulation. A lot of doctors tell parents to check little toes and fingers for wrapped hairs when a baby seems to be crying for no reason because this can be really painful for little ones.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">You can also make your hair a bit fuller and thicker by using vitamins like biotin and B complex in general. This is an effective way to increase hair health and production beginning at the scalp. The best way to get the hair benefits of vitamins is to take them internally but shampoos and conditioners infused with vitamins can also add to the effect. Moreover, vitamins are good for your general health.</span><br />

<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As a midwife, I put a lot of thought and effort into my pregnancy and birthing experience. My first son was born at home in a birthing pool surrounded by people I loved. But none of my midwifery knowledge prepared me for the first few weeks after having a baby. For me, the postpartum part of pregnancy was very stressful and physically challenging. I had a long labor and every part of my body hurt. It felt like I had been hit by a truck. I share with you some post-delivery stress-reducing survival tips that made the end of my second pregnancy more enjoyable.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Arrange help for the household chores: </strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Believe me; you will be too exhausted to keep up with everything postpartum. Don't be afraid to ask for help during your pregnancy or request a home cleaning gift certificate as a great baby shower gift that can be used after having a baby.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Stock your freezer with pre-cooked meals:</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong> </strong>New moms get hungry at odd hours and it is not unusual to be too tired to cook.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Schedule chiropractic adjustments during the first week postpartum: </strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Pregnancy and childbirth move many of your pelvic bones out of alignment (even if you have a cesarean section birth). Use the expertise of your chiropractor to realign your pelvis, hips, and back. This will definitely expedite your recovery following birth.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Have a good supply of large sanitary napkins and adult diapers in your hospital bag and at home.</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong> </strong>I am not kidding! After pregnancy new moms will experience very heavy bleeding and regular sanitary towels will not do the job. Most hospitals give new moms cheap sanitary towels postpartum. This will also save your bed linen from being destroyed.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3KtSqBaz46HcNW_EGQfTdZGh05T8YmsIUw8omyV66aCrk9RiyLy_OoyNh6B9CkYvDI213EN0zhbRiTFBwOoL86myjbHqAB91_2l_QAGSaAPzRuL7yNfWi2ozrq8TAKuTf6tlCYqCjVyU/s1600/images.jpg774874.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Sleep when your baby sleeps.</strong> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">As a new mom postpartum be prepared to be exhausted. Take every opportunity to sleep whenever your baby sleeps.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Don't be afraid to cry (and don't worry about it). </strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum result in changing levels of hormones. After childbirth, there is a rapid decrease in hormones that occurs approximately on the third, fifth and tenth day. These hormone adjustments can be emotionally challenging for the mother. You may cry for no apparent reason so let it out and know this is all part of a normal pregnancy postpartum.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Supplement with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are breastfeeding safe:</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><br /></strong></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><strong> </strong>Every organ and system in your body is under a lot of physical stress postpartum as they attempt to return to their normal nonpregnancy state. High-quality vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are safe for breastfeeding will provide the foundation to prevent post-delivery complications and result in an overall better pregnancy experience.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0QPG-Ovm1gFe0ppzqI_UdwlIoU7LjmzmLJeux0mUWyDhybYfKDDkTww70-k4OGOhYOyK5PAQww8APlEaQHmi_zB8uoecnVinLH28-JCM32ao6_CJi7UncNiD0uJadEza2MfqJYZtQCqw/s1600/3333.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Having a new baby is a wonderful time in a woman's life. Knowing the above plan ahead and think of ways to support yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ahead of time before you are all consumed with your new baby. I am a great believer in the good internal health of the body for optimum health and pretension of stress, sickness, disease, and depression. I highly recommend all pregnant and new moms supplement with high-quality vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants needed to support the many challenges of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Motherhood can be an extraordinary, yet exhausting experience for a woman. Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy and postpartum will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your new baby will allow you to enhance your postpartum experience and create a strong bond between you and your baby. It will also allow your baby to be more content and be an easier child to manage.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are facing any emotional challenges after having a baby then you are not alone. Then please do not be afraid to reach out for help and seek professional support, remember your baby has picked you out of all the mothers in the world to be his or her mother. Once you have made the adjustments to motherhood, you will be a great mother!</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>What Is Female Alopecia?</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The pattern of baldness for women is different from men. Rather than making itself known with patches or spots of hair loss, it starts out with the thinning of hair throughout the entire scalp but almost always without causing the hairline to recede. Even better, female alopecia rarely results in complete baldness.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxEp5DLPpB5AvAke-7erDGKDw7RBGyBW4x23Iway6zp3WE_DRo3Srgt0tRDmFVbOsQZc-a0njw27RGmXBsQZH21vLSwIUMscArsBO95zS143Y6SyMFTNSsR6iNuMZSe20EsaWmzIsN1uM/s1600/images.jpgrrrrrrtttttttt.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Important Figures for Female Alopecia</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As many as thirteen percent of women suffering from premenopausal syndromes are experiencing androgenetic alopecia. The numbers only go up as women get older and reach menopausal and postmenopausal stages. Nevertheless, female alopecia can show up as early as women reaching thirty years of age.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>How Does Female Alopecia Start Out and Progress?</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Female alopecia may not be a life-threatening illness but even so, it can be a serious cause of dismay as many perceive hair loss as a detractor to their physical appeal. Thankfully, female alopecia takes place gradually. It begins with hair thinning, made more evident with an increased degree of hair shedding.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Procedures for Female Alopecia</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Rarely is a biopsy needed to determine if a woman is actually suffering from female alopecia? But if a biopsy is indeed performed, this can also be used to determine whether female-patterned baldness is occurring. It is usually better if two types of hair samples are taken: one from vertical sectioning and another from horizontal sectioning.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUxb4hE4PRuT9heLfoEOM1c52HMD34bK0k74mYxDetzbn6Vj0b7I8h9imOByd5GA_Y86iDqu_TmMmI1qZN2cDlkc75FH3DP2z116PI6rO2gh0deGFzqyt2VgdKqOjozA4sEeKHyMDgRWk/s1600/images.jpg444444444444.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Possible Treatments for Female Alopecia</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Not all treatments for male alopecia will work well with female alopecia especially if the woman isn't in perfect health. It is best to consult with your doctor prior to taking any kind of medication or treatment for your condition. As medications and treatments are usually taken on a continuous basis, money might also be one of the important factors you should consider when choosing the optimal solution.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Minoxidil</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Minoxidil wasn't originally intended to be a medication for baldness, male or female, but rather, it was a medication for high blood pressure. When subsequent studies showed hair growth as one of the side effects of Minoxidil, this led to the idea of turning it into a medication for baldness. Later on, Minoxidil was officially used for creating a topical solution for baldness and it became one of the two officially accepted treatments for baldness by the US Food and Drug Administration.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Continuous application is necessary since abrupt withdrawal or discontinuation can lead to a sudden reverse effect of all the positive results of the treatment. There are two kinds of this treatment currently available in the market: one that contains 2% Minoxidil and another containing 5% Minoxidil. The latter is said to be somewhat more effective. The best news about Minoxil is how studies show women responding more positively to the treatment compared to men.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBi425gzbPix-fn57Wrhz6wu0SIGgCVZYsAKopitMl5QimTX0Et14yWyY58IBG0WZoAeL61m21LMgOxGh8N8c1FFmAgO1ztTif4x_Y_EQDVfe5YCrkJmqu4hZ1sFYwH4zchdVHfN0rojk/s1600/images.jpgqwwwwsssss.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Finasteride</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Unlike Minoxidil, it is not entirely safe for Finasteride to be prescribed for treating female alopecia. One of the various side effects of taking Finasteride is causing your unborn child to suffer from severe birth defects. Finasteride is thus a danger for women who are already or might become pregnant.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Surgery</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Lastly and the most expensive option of all would be surgery. Women can opt for micrografting - a process that transplants hair from other areas of the scalp to those areas suffering from female alopecia.</span><br />

<div id="article-content" style="font-family: Arial;">
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Postpartum alopecia, also known as hair loss after pregnancy, is an ailment afflicting many new mothers once they have delivered their child. The hair loss that occurs is generally a result of reduced levels of estrogen throughout her body. While she was pregnant her estrogen levels were at their highest peak which led to an increase of excess body hair.</b></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjgkLZyK5jrtgQJ7WL9oiIUDnfvkL7XTsxVRlJ1H2lXqzEovX-zkBE7WWhreE3sTAr5WCh8Y2jhSaw2eEoxwGLKhQq2pU9Boeh0LbmRu2PQU5yY0NZLKao1Hec_G_f1VfkXenKnbf9h285W39B47WWqw1ZuK_3YBIMKDYQD4SnwAsRwKv1L-j6klJtP=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic_zOseg3vLT_n_9ejzJyDIESm25ZMXDbDWr2wlOMjIHTcujBemBvyDgWkvoa2hh42e479js8Iq0sUN9T4KBO5GOMMTViz2QwihHllojzNC7-0yHagvY6YmZXXE08K2YN2x9RS4tdRT7w/s1600/t%C3%A9l%C3%A9chargement+(37).jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">When she had given birth, her levels of estrogen began to drop which naturally increases the level of the male hormone testosterone, in her body. While it is thought that only men produce testosterone in their testes, women also develop normal testosterone hormone levels amounts in their ovaries. As her levels of testosterone heighten, it begins to bind with 5-alpha reductase which produces DHT, or dihydrotestosterone.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">With higher levels of dihydrotestosterone in her body, hair loss after pregnancy is a natural occurrence. The DHT while traveling to the bloodstream begins to bind with follicles and hair strands on her scalp. Once DHT is present in the hair follicle it immediately stops the production of hair, causing the follicle to go dormant, and in time the strand of hair falls out. The natural process of immediately starting another strand of hair is now diminished as the follicle remains dormant.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">While this is typically common for new hairs to form after the old hairs have fallen out, DHT stops this process and you begin to develop thinning or balding areas on your scalp. While hair loss after pregnancy is a common occurrence, it can be reversed quite easily.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">You simply need to find a way to elevate your estrogen levels back to the correct level. The sooner this happens, the sooner the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) will stop.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMIldRVJ27Z577bHVKFSO7NBST_NvvkheoAcLxqgfCmlD1aX6yM1R48wCLzSv9AFjKGL31FtmKg9d_0ohuQXPCZIZqem_7bcBnvIW_gQ0ORqzvd8nFDZ9529OVddBiJ_bE1ocJDGt-ft8/s1600/images.jpg2223333.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">One of the easiest ways of restoring your estrogen levels back to their correct amounts is to take all-natural herbal supplements designed specifically for hair growth. Many of the supplements for women include Biotin, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, and Horsetail Silica. Beginning a daily routine of taking these all-natural organic supplements, as directed, can effectively start hair rejuvenation on the thinning and balding areas of your scalp.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Working to rectify your hair loss after pregnancy sometimes requires altering your diet to a more natural healthy balance. Eating correctly and nutritionally can improve your overall general health which will naturally restore your estrogen levels to their correct amounts. Using a high-quality hair loss shampoo specifically formulated for women's hair loss is another way of restoring and rejuvenating hair re-growth.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Most hair loss after pregnancy is reversible with just a proper routine of eating properly, using the right shampoo, and taking your all-natural herbal supplements each day. If it is working, you should begin to notice positive results of hair growth in the Bolding and thinning areas on your scalp, within as little as four months.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Vitamin B group, these vitamins have many benefits for hair loss. Vitamin B can be found in foods and as a supplement.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Toupee, this is a hairpiece much like a wig. Unlike in the past the toupees these days are much less noticeable.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Some medications for frontal hair loss are</b>;</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Finasteride, this medication is for men. It has a 60 % success rate, and it has some side effects, such as temporary impotence and lack of sexual desire.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Minoxidil, this medication has a 60 - 70 % success rate. It promotes strong hair and encourages density. Some side effects are known such as dry flaky skin, dandruff, and itchiness.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Hair implantation surgery, this is highly expensive and needs repeating throughout life.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you notice any unwanted effects whilst taking a treatment or medication, seek medical advice and stop using the product.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQqKAKCbLLCKiv_H5tO4WLw_Qoc45SamLcm4zpFaBGvRPZ7xFGgNQ85mKpd4agg4HsBdX4R4NW4ReM3BgQxeAj3_CvUbchwlP8PKJQfil2nqGc5CpDgo4-pWt7xV4hpSvSc2M0mLM-3Ws/s1600/images.jpg666666666666.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you are looking for a suitable treatment I advise you to do some light research beforehand. Try to find a product that is better suited to your needs. Basically, if the hair is thinning try a supplement, if you are bald you may want to consider a toupee or surgery.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">As I mentioned above this hair implant surgery costs a lot of money, not only that you have to have it repeated up to 10 times in your life. This seems a little extreme when there are other treatments available. But your individual needs at this point in time may be higher than others.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Before you get to the stage where you are considering hair implants I would advise that you try several of the treatments and medications on offer. Sometimes the most effective treatment is the one that you would not usually choose to use.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">If you suffer from frontal hair loss, you may notice that it can occur over a lengthy time period, in extreme cases you may notice that it happens rather quickly. Because of this, I recommend that you speak with your doctor or start a course of treatment or medication as soon as you notice the problem.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Pregnancy is the stage that transforms a woman into a mother. During pregnancy, different changes occur and it could either be physical or mental. Pregnancy is like a burden placed on a woman, and when it is to be disposed of, it is always very painful, and few women are not successful in that area. Hair loss after pregnancy is one of the physical changes that occur in a woman, and it occurs in about 80% of the population of women in the world after childbirth.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjn8lFJVLICN0JZ_DOxroQR0bT6kXa3id06iqQmJsD4Pz9D9vrhcUem7wVU6LU7DEeH00EBjeS7-cTXMalP_sBWn1TGf4NmZo4RGlFD-huKCGHbPZL9Q_rkvnm6t5XD9Ft397qCQ4eOCAD7vrT15RiswquWj_D9notjseh6yVoatqZhVs86XaMIHqUV=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Sometimes, the hair breaks so much that it becomes so unbearable for the bearer, and this may make such a person take the decision of scraping everything off and letting it grow again. There are so many reasons for hair loss during pregnancy, and they are listed below for your understanding.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>1.</b> The normal rate at which a woman loses her hair daily is around 25-90, and it can be either while brushing or washing, but a pregnant woman loses the little amount of hair than that of a normal woman either due to changes in the hormonal activities that occur in the body during pregnancy.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>2.</b> In a woman who has not undergone the pregnancy stage, the hair is always at rest at every period. This stage is called telogen which is the resting phase of the hair follicle. When the hair falls off, the remaining hair continues to grow, which is called the anagen phase and later passes through another phase called the transitional stage or the catagen phase. This phase is when the hair is developing from the anagen phase to the telogen phase.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdpg0CDP1WBAm39eUc1Bt_oF7XLaLHXCod3Q-bNzpY3UpZiwl4bKaQhuy2bhhRuCBXlEFlNL8irD4-8sDIuNtrZiNJvIbXfjg7zoOzOslSms6BVO9J13yXu-WePeFqFW1S_6hLOyzrVow/s1600/images.jpg9999$$$$$$.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>3.</b> During pregnancy, the level of hormones which are estrogen and progesterone increases and this prevents the hair from falling. Once the baby is delivered, the scalp becomes thick, and this makes the hair breaks easily, and the body's chemical change and the hormonal level becomes normal, and this makes the hair go back to its resting stage, and fall off. Though it is observed that the hair falls in excess, it will not cause visible baldness and new hair will grow after that, which can take a long while; possibly, a year.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>4.</b> Also, stress and nutrients that are lost during breastfeeding can also cause hair loss.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">So, these are the reasons for hair loss after pregnancy, and I encourage you not to be affrighted or panicky when you notice your hair fall off after pregnancy.</span><br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Pregnancy is not only an emotional but also a physical journey that often tests the psychological well-being of women. Changes in hormones affect almost every function of the body, from internal to external aspects including hair, skin, and nails. Some of the changes like pregnancy hair loss or alopecia are highly unsightly but fortunately temporary in nature.</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></i></b>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="90" data-original-width="728" height="80" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgIPvyBSu1mSoVt4viE7yCBS6BYrYgAqpdD6E-QKKxkPvwenLlvrZumz-aA5yYI_tpx5eEn2FnGH45nm5QF-ngiFpE8Q0I4jm40zyu7ljpc-AX_8_kIckJj_y912ubnDaxv5tPUAe2edefa6r4vohGynL8mM5GNZpYw0H6D6Vl2E5a-lKLsDyYd1iR9=w640-h80" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">However, these changes can and do cause undue worry to expectant mothers despite the fact that they are very common effects of pregnancy. While it should be noted that postpartum/post-pregnancy hair loss is the most common scenario, an expectant mother should be aware of early pregnancy hair loss as well as postpartum hair loss and work closely with your gynecologist to manage the process.</span><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg0tK6ptQy3cV1EYbsWRoBllITxwEuw0fpWSE7Z7MNujWV3J-PXiYzYXKJSslbeQHCvrrZeooeczeH_WkYounu4a9Dfopr2z0SeXRfWHiNIZMIk1QHO6gMR0vrcOe5ABec1CvFDKWk4qs/s1600/images.jpgppp444111.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Early Pregnancy Hair Loss</b></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Most women do not experience this scenario but if you happen to be one who does, there might be vitamin or mineral deficiency in your system and you should be seeking the advice of your gynecologist. Hair loss has a direct correlation to the imbalances of hormones and estrogen levels. And to complicate matters, if you have been trying to get pregnant and stopped taking birth control pills abruptly, alopecia can arise. And when you finally realized you are successfully impregnated, you start are experiencing alopecia and are led to associate it with your pregnancy. Alopecia due to hormonal changes like thyroid disorder in pregnancy can happen during the process and your doctor should be able to help treat the condition.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Postpartum hair loss, on the other hand, is a normal and temporary scenario that is not related to breastfeeding. Generally speaking, most expectant mothers do not usually experience much alopecia during pregnancy until after three months from childbirth when the full impact of post-pregnancy hair loss is more often felt. This is the time when your hormones have normalized to original levels and the hair that was supposed to have fallen off during pregnancy due to low estrogen levels did not.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The time frame between childbirth and the start of shedding correlates to the length of the resting phase of your hair growth which is an average of 3 months and ranges from 1 to 6 months. You might find that alopecia is more intense especially when your hair grew much faster during pregnancy. You can expect to return to your usual cycle within six months after birth.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://nplink.net/tzd3n4e9" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQLQyvHD7grZrJqH2uEZuiWewE5_cf33Kb365NPgp1Exv_f7Ueh2VTI-aNJQvvcv3cEzXdIBTOf9KIHr6wmwRaw0H0RHRVJWg6PYUY6NP5bZwpYDe_KEWfxXwKyePIbdwqUvkcCKp1akc/s1600/images.jpgppooppoppppp.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: large;">While your post-pregnancy hair loss is temporary, it could deteriorate over a period of as long as half a year or longer after childbirth before they grow back again. Keep your cool and manage the process nonchalantly. Comb it lightly and gently, and try not to blow dry it or use curlers. Do not tie up your hair as this will stretch and pull at the roots, weakening the already weak follicles and this includes avoiding weaves, braids, and pigtails. Have a well-nourished and balanced diet as well as get sufficient exercise and rest. Check with your doctor to ensure that you are not suffering from post-pregnancy hormonal imbalance and his or her recommendation on the right type of shampoos too.</span><br />
